The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health was established in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 379 dated 7/7/1443 AH. As one of the outcomes of the 'National Strategic Program for Occupational Safety and Health', launched by the 'Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development' within the framework of the initiatives of the National Transformation Program (one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030). The Council seeks to achieve integration with relevant authorities at the national level, to adopt the best international practices in the field of occupational safety and health, in line with the needs and requirements of the Saudi labor market, enhance its attractiveness to individuals and the growth of establishments’ productivity, and ensure the protection, safety and health of workers.
